Used Bike Inventory updated weekly – last updated January 28th, ‘19
Ok, immediately below we’re not featuring a used bike, but it’s still an awesome used deal worth posting. It’s a HED carbon FatBike race wheelset. The wheelset has been used only 5 times and is in pretty close to perfect shape.
It comes with a free 190mm rear Hope hub to make it compatible with more new FatBike rear ends. However the front hub has 142mm spacing, and most new FatBikes use 150mm spacing; you can most likely get some spacers for very little money that can adapt the hubs to your current set up (or maybe you have a 142mm spacing and you’re good to go). If you have any questions we’re happy to help.
Oh, and the price…this whole wheelset, including the extra 190mm Hope hub, is just $1900. That’s less than half what it would cost new! These are arguably the best FatBike race wheels available folks, and we’ve never seen a deal on them this good. (Editor’s note: I should know they’re the best b/c my wife rides this same wheelset and I’m jealous riding beside her every time).
Giant Roam 2. M, $550
2014 Salsa Mukluk 3 size small (15in frame) with many upgrades over the original. Hydroformed aluminum frame and fork, SRAM X5/X9 derailleur/shifter combination and 2×9 drivetrain. Serious custom-build wheel upgrade featuring Paul Components hubs and Surly Rolling Darryl rims drilled out for weight savings, Maxxis Mammoth 26×4.0, 120 tpi tires, Salsa Alternator rack and Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes. This bike is a shop employee build, in excellent condition, very low mileage and ready for any expedition or daily adventure. Outstanding value at $1900 and given this component package, high quality wheel build and rare frame size, it won’t last long.
We have an ever-changing stock of used bikes in the shop, almost always taken in on trade. We can’t offer warranties or free tune ups (like we do on our new bikes) on used stuff, but we do make sure our used bikes are well tuned and ready to ride.
If you’re looking for something used it’s pretty much luck of the draw, so keep checking to see what we currently have – it might be a high end cross country racing mountain bike, or a casual cruiser, or an entry level road bike, or a hybrid, or….well, you get the idea.
