Now that cyclocross season is well and truly upon us, with a couple of events under our belts but many still to come, you probably have a better idea of what kind tires will best get you through 30-60 minutes of suffering.

That means you’re armed with enough knowledge to come to the shop, pick out a new set of rubber, and up your ‘cross game a notch.

We have plenty of cyclocross specific tires in stock now, starting in price at around $60 each.  Come and check them out before the next race.

Okay, stick with us on this one…we have just received into stock some new old stock Salsa Blackborows. In 2017 Salsa significantly revamped the Blackborow model, so much so that it really became a completely different bike with a very different application.

What we just received into stock is the 2016 version, which is a much more straightforward FatBike.  Actually, we’ve received the frames and are planning to build them up into custom FatBikes.  Salsa was motivated to move the older frame version quickly so we were able to get them on quite a deal, and we plan to pass that savings on to you.

If you’ve like to inquire further about our plans, or if you’d like to claim a frame for yourself and build it up on your own or if you’d like us to build one for you connect with us anytime and we’ll sort something out.  We have a couple of medium and a couple of large frame sizes in stock at the time of this posting.

If you’re looking to build up your own cyclocross bike, gravel grinder, or everyday commuter the Surly Crosscheck frameset is a great place to start. We can order you a Crosscheck frameset in any size but if you’re of smaller stature we have a 50cm frameset in stock now and selling for just $680 plus taxes.

This frameset is made for canti-style brakes, a 1 1/8th inch headset, and a conventional threaded bottom bracket.  It has semi-horizontal dropouts that can be used with a geared or a single speed drivetrain.

If you need help picking pieces to build this or any frameset up we’re happy to play a roll, or if you’d like us to take on the whole project and build the bike for you we can do that too – just let us know how you’d like to proceed.
