Our low to mid-level mountain bikes have been selling well this season, with Giant, Marin, and Cannondale bikes all moving out the door briskly, and although we’ve ordered enough of all 3 brands to still have reasonable inventory left to choose from as we enter the heat of summer our stock seems unequally balanced towards the Cannondales so we’ve put many of them on sale to make sure everything continues to move at a steady pace.
So, this week we’re featuring a different 2015 Cannondale hardtail mountain bike each day.
Today we’re featuring the Trail SL1, regularly priced at $2150 but now reduced to just $1930 plus taxes.
This 29er has a great drivetrain including an XT rear derailleur, along with a Reba fork with adjustability and lockout.
This bike is, in our opinion, close to the point of diminishing return for hardtails (not that we don’t often go way past that point ourselves), and it’s the highest end mountain bike offered by Cannondale that doesn’t use the Lefty front suspension.
In other words, unless you’re inclined to move into the very top level of C’dales this bike is as good as it gets, and that’s probably where the sweet spot in value lies.
At the time of this posting we have most sizes of this model still in stock, so come and check one out or take one for a test ride anytime!
