Nothing wrecks your ride quite like getting a bunch of snow up your pants or down your shoes or boots. It’s often warm enough in the winter to wear our beefiest summer bike shoes with an extra pair of socks, but our ankles are left venerable to the cold, and snow always seems to end up in the wrong places.
These gaiters from 45Nrth, at $110 for the pair, pretty much solve all of those problems. They fit fairly snuggly so they don’t interfere with your pedal stroke or rub against your crank arm but they’re built to easily get on and off and they tighten up well so the stay in place for the whole ride.
Get ’em before the next big snow fall and you’ll be smil’n.
