We re-Stan’s a lot of mountain bike wheels when customers come in with a tubeless wheel set up with a compromised seal. The truth is that tubeless set ups often require a little more tire sealant every year or so to keep a proper seal, especially if the bike has been sitting for any length of time.
We’re happy to take care of the resealing for you, but if you’d rather do it yourself we also sell the sealant for you to take home and have fun with on your own. Applying the sealant to your wheels is pretty straightforward (Stan’s has pretty good instructions on their packaging and on their website) and the cost is minimal. A half litre bottle of sealant, which lasts for a few applications, is just $24. A full litre bottle is only $10 more.
